MANTOVANI prequalified for the Anaklia Deep Sea Port Landside Works
The Anaklia Development Consortium LLC (“ADC”) (https://lnkd.in/eJf_S9j), will build the largest port in Anaklia, a Black Sea city near Georgia’s breakaway Abkhazia region. When complete it will have the ability to receive large vessels with a 10,000 container capacity. Once fully operational the port will be able to receive Panamax and post-Panamax ships – the largest ships able to pass through a canal with a cargo capacity of up to 40,000 tonnes. Last November 2017, MANTOVANI has been prequalified for the tender participation of the landside construction works of the Phase 1 area of Anaklia Deep Water Black Sea Port. The Tender has been postponed till completion of the Detailed Design development process, tentatively Autumn of 2018. The Anaklia Port is part of the new, faster maritime corridor between China and Europe, a challenging Project in the context of the One Belt, One Road concept.
